i hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. the weather was simply stunning here. it felt like an old fashion easter. i can remember as a kid easter was always a sure sign of spring. we wore our new shoes to church, the flowers were blooming and the sun was shining. in recent years, most easters have been covered in snow ... sometimes more than chirstmas. it just didn't feel right. but not this year. a perfect spring weekend.
anywho, i volunteer to make the bread for dinner on sunday after seeing these yummy hot crossed buns over at Pioneer Woman Cooks. this was my first time EVER making bread from scratch. shocking, i know. but they turned out fabulous and tasted delicious. see!
i think i'll try making bread more often! and it made the house seem simply divine. maybe if you sniff your screen real hard you can smell them too! well, maybe not.
