a cutting garden

i really liked this month's feature in better homes and gardens about using foliage to create really simple yet dynamic flower arrangements.

above are two examples of what was feature in the magazine.

so as i walked around the bed and breakfast today i gather a couple leaves (and some flowers for good measure) and created some really amazing arragements. and i think the whole process took me 5 minutes. another reason to love summer.

beautiful. right? at least i think so.

and all from my little garden in my little yard.

what do you think?

Thanks for sharing! I just bought these tiny what vases that I have no idea what to do with them...impulse buy. The simple arrangement is so pretty. I'm off to try it. :)

How fun! I'm terrible at arranging flowers, but I think I should try this.
