and of course they sell it for an obscene price. but i still love the look. oh, and i (and my sister-in-law) love the old books stacked under the cloche!
pottery barn - 0 ... michael - 1
and here's what i came up with.
obviously there is a lot going on here as this is a shoppe not a 'home mantel'. but you get the idea.
i hung some from the mirror .... tucked other clumps in here and there.
it looks a bit spooky ... but still rustic and warm. ... if that makes sense.
but be warned ... it makes a heck of a mess! have your sweeper (yeah ... we say sweeper in central pa ... not vaccum) on hand. and i love the smell of it too. that probably sounds weird ... but i do. do you know the smell i mean?
i love having the flexibility and opportunity to always be changing things and moving things around. do you find yourself doing that a lot too? i'd go crazy if i couldn't. some things work. some don't. that's the fun!
but i do like the way this looks. don't you? Pin It

Looks great!
This all looks GREAT! And, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. :) Happy almost-fall!
It looks wonderful! I would never have thought to decorate with Spanish moss. I am shocked that they even sell it. I am from the South and you couldn't move without tripping over the stuff. If I had only known. ;) I am really enjoying how you decorated with it!
Michael Just found your block and love it. I too live in central PA in the small town of Avis. Check out my blog if you get a chance. Now I'm going to go look at your older posts.
Hugs Theresa
Books and spider under the cloche - that is so going to be on my table!
Love it! Love the idea of spanish moss, too. Never would have thought of that.
I LOVE fall and wish it could last a lot longer! Your store mantle is so warming! I love it, and I love the idea of dead spanish moss! Running to Wal-Mart now!
