while i'm still not sure exactly how to use you yet.
i do know that i love you.
every time i hear the sound of the shutter closing i feel like i'm capturing a little magic.
and maybe i am.
although jax isn't quite sure what to think of you (he'll come around),
i'm enjoying you immensely,
and look forward to discovering all you can do.

love. this. post. :)
ReplyDeleteHi there! Lovely pictures. You'll get the hang of it. I love my Canon 10D.
ReplyDeleteLove these pictures! Glad you're loving your new camera! :)
ReplyDeleteYou seriously took these the first week? Amazing. And, I'm annoyed with you for your innate talent. I still feel inept with mine.
ReplyDeletenext purchase: the 50mm 1.8 prime (fixed) lens. at only $100 on amazon, it offers a gorgeous depth of field, and with the wide open aperture, allows for shooting in low light at controllable shutter speeds. and no, i'm not a canon rep or salesperson ;) cheers!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog Michael and a fab one you've got going on here. Great to see someone else working the Chrissy bauble :) Well done on your new camera purchase .. ditto comment from LizzyQue.

Hi Michael! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving your kind comments!
ReplyDeleteI have a T1i, also, and it's been really great to me so far. It's never ending the things I can learn about it. Love it.
Love your blog as well! Adding you to my reader now, and following you on twitter! :) Have a great day!
love it.
ReplyDeleteLucky you... nice choice!
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate, I just got a macro lens for Christmas and am shooting 3-400 shots a day of my dog alone. ELP ME! I have no idea how to use this lens much less the camera I borrowed (stole) from my husband. I need to take a class or a least read a tutorial as to what all these bells, whistles and buttons do.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are fantastic, maybe I should take a class from you!
I can so relate to this!
ReplyDeleteI treated myself to a Canon EOS Rebel XS for my birthday a couple months ago, and I'm still learning. But that shutter sound - you nailed it - it's so captivating. It makes me feel so good to hear that click, like even if this photo doesn't come out exactly the way I want it, maybe the next one will...
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and for the sweet words! They mean a lot to me, so thank you for that.
Lovely...Santa brought me a new camera, as well and I am IN LOVE.
