then be

well, i finally got around the finishing that sign i teased you with last week.

i was inspired by a lovely photo i found a couple weeks ago that had a similar look. the background took quite a while to complete. i kept laying colors and circles. white washing and sanding.

some of the circles are barely even visible anymore. i had my doubts along the way, but i'm super duper please with the way it turned out. this one is a keeper.

what do you think?

What do I think? I think it's flippin' gorgeous! But then, as you should know, I'm a huge fan of your signs!

This is one you should reproduce and put in your Etsy shop, in my humble opinion. I'd buy one, for sure. The colors are so lovely, and the quote is so zen.

Best,

Kimberly

your sign is adorable....so fresh and what a great message! also, about trying to lose a few pounds....me too! i must have a "sweet" though so i buy those big pink marshmallows, keep them in a pretty jar on the counter and have a couple every night...they are FAT free! yay, not chocolate of course but sweet anyway. ha. sharon

It's your best sign yet! I love it. The circles, the colors, the quote and your lettering is perfect. How are you able to paint them so perfectly - - I'm so green with envy! Sure would love to hear some tips!

I had to read the quote twice, and it has two different meanings to me now. a) If you want to be happy, then be (as in to be or not to be), and b) If you want to be happy, go ahead and BE HAPPY! No matter how I read it, I love both meanings, and I ADORE that sign. A flower meadow bokeh and an invitation to be. And to be happy. What's not to love?

My favorite part about the sign you made is your color choices...they're perfect, especially for this message.

I wanted to stop in and say that I have been thinking about this sign since you posted it. I really cant describe how much I love it. The quote is so inspirational for me personally. I will be making something similar very soon! Cant get it out of my head. Thank you so much!
