the ladder

at first glace i saw a wooden painter's ladder attached to the wall.

then i realized that taken together,

ladder, shelf, and various objects it became a very artistic sculpture-like piece of art.

If, per chance, after I come to visit your fine establishment, you find said ladder missing after my departure... er - uh... it wasn't me! Honest. No, really. Why would I take it? I mean it's only absolutely charming and the fact that it would look divine in my house has nothing to do with it.

Hmmm...it appears Blogger ate my comment the first time! Let me try again:

That is such a sweet comment from your guest, Michael! I'm glad it caught their eye because it's obvious you put so much of your heart into your lovely B&B!

I just tumbl'd it for future inspiration as I need a shelf above my bed and I just so happen to have a ladder like that on my back porch with no intended purpose at the moment!

How did you attach the ladder to the wall? Those suckers are fairly heavy--at least the one I have is! :)

Take care,

Giggling. Sometimes it take people awhile to "get" what you are after in decorating.

Love the ladder et al.
