The bright yellow numbers on this vintage file cabinet give this worn piece a new life; and what a great way to stay organized!
Dresser turned Media Center via Number 2 Pencil
Another striking painted project! An old dresser becomes a fierce media center. An inspired way to infuse color into a space.
What a beautiful sunny party! Love the yellow runner and bunting! I’m also like how all the food follows the same color scheme. Its makes for such a dynamic presentation!
Stairwell Storage via Martha Stewart
If everyone else’s basements look like this, then I’m in trouble! I just love this beautiful basement stairwell storage solution! Clean, bright and it screams ‘Martha Stewart’!

Yellow Bedroom via Sarah Richardson
Sarah Richardson is my design hero! I pretty much adore everything she does, but I especially love this space. The headboard, the art and the little benches all cuddled in white are just too fasntastic!
Crespedia, aka billy balls, seem to be taking over the internet this days! And for good reason. They seem too look perfect in any space be it modern, rustic, traditional or contemporary! I need to get my hand on some of these guys! Or…

I’ve been in love with these napkins for quite some time! Made with varying shades of fabric and rick rack. Now I just need to find the time to make some!
That’s it! How’d you like my lovely yellow round up?
Next week’s Very Pinteresting will be ‘Macarons and Macaroons’. (Macaron = a meringue-based cookie and Macaroons = small dense coconut cookie). No matter how you spell it, they are two of my favorite things. Delicious!
If you have made either of these in the past or have a favorite recipe you’d like to see included in next week’s Very Pinteresting, please email me at ibcsubmission@yahoo.com Your submissions are important and appreciated! Thanks.

I have that same dresser-what a great idea!
well Michael how bout a tutor on how to use Pinterest…..cause i will prolly have to buy the book for Dummies!!!!
I am Sarah Richardson’s #1 fan! I love everything she designs.
I am thinking those rick rack napkins would be so easy to make… but perhaps I will make placemats instead! Cloth napkins would not last long at my house. Thanks for all your yellow inspiration!
Everything is beautiful! Craving some yellow in my house as well. I think I might have to make some of those rick rack napkins! Too cute. Thanks for sharing all the yellow…brightened my day.
I love all that yellow. My favorites? The stairwell, and your quilt.
It’s funny…I was never much of a yellow kind of girl…but lately I can’t get enough of yellow:)
I’m so glad to see yellow! We just purchased a house built in 1921 and the master bedroom is a cross between the headboard and #2 pencil…I’m at a loss except for white? I do (kinda) like it + it’s way to large to paint just yet.
bty Love the quilt
Thank you for including the book, Michael! What a thrill to see it in your post.
Love all the other yellow inspirations. Pinning several now!
Thank you for featuring my lemon fudge. It is super sweet and very lemony.
This entire post is such a cheerful dose of yellow on a very dreary, grey day here in NY area.
I am in love with your blog…thanks for sharing your beautiful thoughts and things!
Right now so addicted to anything yellow, really needing a pick me up and your blog just did it for me, thank you from South Africa
