As I mentioned on Facebook and Twitter yesterday, today’s Very Pinteresting Post is all about Sangria. A huge thanks to those of you the one person that submitted their recipe post. It’s much appreciated! And I do apologize for the short notice, I’ll try to give more time for next weeks VP.
I’ve been researching these recipes for a couple days now and I’m literally dying for a big ol’ pitcher of sangria. I can literally taste it.
Sangria is probably one of my favorite alcoholic beverages. Loooove it!! When I lived in Philadelphia this place and this place were my two favorite spots with absolutely delicious sangria. If you live anywhere near them you must stop what you are doing an go have a glass for me. Please.
If you don’t live near Philadelphia then I guess you’ll have to whip up your own concoction. But, do not fear, I’ve provided twenty amazing recipes that are guaranteed to appease any sangria craving. Cheers!

Have a fab weekend everyone!
In other news, a blogger friend suggested I have a party when I reach one million Pinterest followers (which should be happening in the next couple weeks). I love the idea, but I need your help.
When one million is achieved, I think it would be fun to host a week long giveaway. I’m looking for about five bloggers and/or etsy shoppe owners that would be willing to sponsor a prize (plus shipping). I’m planning on having this be a pretty big event, so If you can or want to participate I can promise a record breaking amount of traffic to your blog/etsy shop via lots of pins which will obviously be seen by over one million people.
I will also be participating by offering prizes from my own brick and mortar Gift Shoppe.
If you are interested in sponsoring a giveaway, please email me (inspiredbycharm (at) yahoo.com) ASAP. I’m only going to be selecting five people/shops. If you can’t sponsor a giveaway, but know someone that could please pass information along to them.
Thank you!!

I love sangria too and these look fabulous! Can’t decide between the skinny sangria or the strawberry basil, will have to try both. Thanks Michael, have a great weekend!
Chris, I have a great sangria recipe given to me by our French tour guide (June, 2001). I don’t have a blog or website so I thought I could not submit. Here it is:
Claudine O’s Sangria
1 bottle dry red wine
1/2 glass cognac
1/2 glass Quantro (or triple sec) orange liquor
1 small bottle SCHWEPP’S(only) lemon soda
Chopped apples and oranges
Refrigerate.
(add pineapple, peaches, bananas to glass at last minute.). Nipper48@gmail.com
I am going to try the apple jack sangria as soon as possible. I only hope I can wait the required time to allow the flavors to blend in the fridge. Awesome page thank you!!
First of all, it’s barely 8 o’clock and raining outside and you have me wanting one of those icy treats! I love the Strawberry Basil Sangria from Tree Hugger and the Sangria Ice looks amazing!
I guess I better refrain, I’m going to help out in my little man’s kindergarten class, and I don’t want to be one of those mommies;0)
PS -
I can’t wait for the party!!!
I don’t have one single Sangria recipe but I can tell I want one! Which one? I can see how I can now survive these hot AR summers! Duh! I see a Sangria Summer in my future! The only problem is I live in a dry county so I can’t even get liquor shipped in. I’ll have to make a Sangria list and drive an hour to Missouri and then an hour back but I think it will be well worth it when the heat arrives! I’ll be trying all those recipes…all summer long! LOL! Thanks so much!
Hi Michael, I’m following you at Pinterest and today I come to know your blog, I just love it!
Sangria is delicious, my family had a spanish heritage and sometimes we like to drink it, but with no alcohol (simply heating the wine or using grape juice). When winter comes, we do hot wine with cinammon and ginger, a few cloves, it’s delicious.
Hope you get your million soon!
Best regards from Brazil!
Okay Michael! I was just about to turn off my computer and go to bed when I decided to check my mail and your blog about Sangria appeared. I am so thirsty now! I will have to save this for tomorrow’s reading! I love Sangria.
Need to try them all. I’ll be a bit busy for awhile having sangria tastings with freinds. Thanks
1 million pinterest followers? You are awesome! And yes, I am one of those million
Anyway, I haven’t had sangria in forever and, really, all the recipes look good. I might pick one to try for next weekend…spice up our humdrum breakfast, you know?

Thanks for including me in your round up! These recipes look delicious, and I look forward to this summer when I can sit on my front porch and sip sangria. Just as soon as I have this baby.
I agree with you about liking white sangria over red. I made a watermelon sangria for a party that was a big hit. I thinking about the pineapple sangria for New Years.
